𓂀 Paint Companion for ATITD

Tale 11 · Drop in your reactions, get your cheapest verified-math recipes for all 182 colors. Everything runs in your browser — your reaction data never leaves this page.

Avatar: Each avatar keeps its own reactions, weights, results, and exact-recipe choices — all on this computer.

Multi — compare avatars

Project: Each project keeps its own avatars, weights, deben values, and tie-break picks — changes save themselves. A new project starts from what's on screen.
Weights — used only to price each avatar's existing recipes. No re-solving: their recipes stay exactly as their own screen shows them.

2Ingredient weights

Many different recipes can make the same color — the number next to each ingredient tells the solver how hard that ingredient is for you to get, and it picks the recipe with the lowest total weight. Higher number = avoided when possible. Only the ratios matter (Lead 35 vs Red Sand 2 means one lead is "worth" ~17 red sand). Tune them to your guild's economy — plenty of carrots? Lower Carrot. Hate mining? Raise the metals. Untick an ingredient to ban it from recipes entirely.

3Solve

Load reactions first. The full search takes a minute or two — it checks every combination, quantity split, and add-order.

Results

The results show the cheapest recipe for each color: the lowest-weight mix whose result the game still names that color — sometimes a close neighbor of the true RGB rather than a dead-center hit (marked ≈ with the RGB it lands on). Many colors also have an exact recipe that produces the color's RGB precisely — it costs more, but it cannot miss if your reactions are right. Use the exact column's checkbox to switch an individual color to its exact recipe (a dash means no exact recipe exists for that color — cheapest is the only option), or the "Exact recipes (all)" toggle to switch everything at once. Your checked boxes are remembered. An ≈ badge shows the RGB the recipe actually produces; an exact badge means it produces the target RGB itself.

Colors are matched by the game’s nearest-color rule. This page searches the complete recipe space: up to 5 ingredients, 10–20 units, every quantity split and every add-order — so reaction direction differences are fully explored. Always verify a new recipe with one small batch before a big run.
